Pr. Patrick NATAF

The WP5 Coordinator

Patrick NATAF is a cardiac surgeon, Professor at the University of Paris (PU-PH) and head of the cardiac surgery department at the Bichat Hospital since 2006. He has served as President of the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery and of the Working group on cardiovascular surgery of the European Society of Cardiology. Since 2014, he has been a member of Team 3 in the Connected Health Theme of the INSERM Unit U1148 and is the scientific leader of the Labcom 2021 "Augmented Reality for Surgery": LYNX Project. He leads, with Professor Boris Hansel, the Center for Connected Health Responsibility (CRSC) at Bichat Hospital (AP-HP, Paris) and coordinates with him the University Diploma of Connected Health of the University of Paris since 2018.

Pr. Marie-Pia D'ORTHO

The WP5 Coordinator

M.P. d’Ortho, MD PhD, is full professor of Physiology at Paris University. She is heading the Physiology Functional explorations Department of the University Hospital Bichat AP-HP (Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris). She is pulmonologist and European sleep pathology specialist, certified by the European Sleep Research Society. She teaches Physiology, Pulmonology and Sleep medicine at Paris University. She is scientific chief officer of the Digital Medical Hub, a research platform dedicated to multidisciplinary evaluation of OIT uses in health and cares (Bichat, APHP, Paris, http://recherche-hupnvs.aphp.fr/digital-medical-hub/ ). She also conducts research in NeuroDiderot Department (INSERM, Paris, http://neurodiderot.org/index.php/aehome/).

WP5 Objectives

The aims of this WP are to bring together data from APOLLO’s cohorts to :

  • design and train diagnostics & risk stratification algorithms
  • design web interfaces for caregivers and patients
  • design healthcare numeric platforms and apps with high potentials to follow-up chronic diseases
  • build AI learning forums
